Our 2-Day Intensive Course will give you the fundamentals of Curly and Coily Textured Hair. This will give you the confidence and skills to work with a diverse range of curl types.

• Understanding the different hair curl patterns
• Product knowledge 
• How to detangle and style Afro textured hair
• Hair tools and how to use them
• Natural styling - Braids, twists, cornrows, extensions
• How to heat style curly textured hair
• Learn how to prep hair for extensions and wigs 
• Treatments, maintenance and after care

The course is for people looking to Upskill or who needs a refresher. The course will be tailored around you depending on experience.

Tools 

The tools you will need to bring are:

Hair dryer with nozzle & diffuser, Tail comb, Large Tooth comb, Denman brush, Paddle Brush, Hairdressing scissors & Afro pik.

We have tools at the Academy if you don’t have  a kit yet but is very limited, so please let us know in advance. 

All products needed will be provided.

Models

Course will be carried out on training heads and models.

We try are very best to provide models but at times out of our control models are a no show. 
You can also bring your own models along if you wish.
